The intention of Cargo b Airlines is to be the first Brussels cargo airline
in every aspect.
We believe that Brussels
geographically and politically, offers a unique opportunity to take part of
the growth in the air transportation business.
Cargo B Airlines will carry out cargo flights in accordance with customer
and market demands to mainly the Middle- and Far East, Africa and
South America. The cargo carrier operates under a Belgian Aircraft
Operating Certificate and has hired a predominantly Belgian workforce.
The Board of Directors of Cargo B Airlines
consists of the founders of the airline:
Robert Kuijpers is President and CEO
Niek van der Weide is EVP Commercial
Arno Broes is EVP Operations
Cargo B Airlines started operations on 14 October 2007 with flights to Johannesburg and meanwhile has 2 747-200 freighters leased from 3P Air Freighters Ltd. A third 747-200 freighter will be added to the fleet as from 01 April 2008.
